The Fate Witches was founded by Maysha before she left Lethon and as part of the agreement between the Great Adepts and the World Consciousness, she established Dragon's Blight and left behind her inheritance. since then, the clique of fate witches would fall and rise several times.
The battle of fate indicates their resurgence, Lethon would gathered female adepts from all across the entire continent to participate and bestow upon them the blessing of Fate. The Fate Witches would then fall for a time until the next cycle.This cycle would continue several times; however, unknown to Lethon was that the entire process was rigged and Maysha would ultimately always be the winner.
Maysha left a part of her soul in the Tower of Fate, she used her mastery of fate to lay down a trap and when a fate contestant triggered it, Maysha's soul fragment would consume them. By doing so, her clone would qualify to participate in the battle of fate. If her clone won, then she would automatically usurp the power of fate that belonged to Lethon. If her clone lost then the end result would be that her clone would be absorbed into the winner and once that winner became Fifth Grade and left Lethon to go into the Galactic outlands, Maysha would consume her and usurp the powers of fate nonetheless.
By the time of Age of Adepts, the Fate Witches had been extinct for over a thousand years. In fact, many of the times the Fate Witches had fallen was due to Maysha's schemes in order to restart the battle of fate. As a result, The Fate Witches have always been in a delicate situation. Most other Witch Cliques have Great Adepts to guide them and protect them, but Maysha consumes any Fate Witch above Fourth Grade.

- Lethon has given the Fate Witches its full support, it protects the Fate Witches in place of any Great Adepts. It supports Alice because it wants her to safeguard its powers of fate.
- The main reason why Alice has such good fortune and why she is able to be so accurate and helpful to Greem is because Lethon gives her a helping hand.
- At its height, the Fate Witches had five large cities with a grand total of one million citizens and countless apprentice adepts.
