Background[]
A powerful civilization that although fell somewhat short of the Adept civilization was still comparable to any one of the Adept major organizations(excluding ninth grades). The Arcane Empire was based on their homeworld of Morrian Plane and was strong enough to conquer multiple planes and erect many pesudo-plane fortresses around Morrian. The Arcane Empire believed in reaching the truth of the universe and sharing that truth. The Arcane Empire was very egalitarian focused and researched multiple ways that magic could benefit even the mortals, they constructed spell pools, magic pools, and magic equipment that allowed even the untalented mortal to become a first grade arcanist. The development of the Arcane empire was more spread out and larger than even the Adept Civilization but it was not as deep. Unlike the Adept Civilization, the Arcane Empire focused on spreading development and on the community as a whole instead of just focusing on pure power and on the individual. The Arcane Empire although called an empire was a parliamentary republic and was led by two Eighth Grade Arcane Emperors which was more of a title of honor.
However, although it was quite powerful, it was very unfortunate(unlike the adepts), it had rose to power during the awakening of the Scourge Lords and Titans and was targeted by them. The Arcane Empire was strong enough to attract the Titan and Scourge Lords but was too weak to truly oppose them due to both luck and to the Arcane Empire's focus on research rather than battle strength. It's unknown when the Arcane Empire engaged in warfare with the Titan-Scourge Lords but during the events of AOA, the Arcane Empire was reduced to only its Homeworld and lost all their other holdings. Eventually the remnants of the Arcane Empire fled into the Abyss World after being defeated at Morrian Plane.
Cultivation[]
The Arcane Empire measured their power in "Rings" like first ring, second ring and so forth.
Arcane Apprentice(apprentice)-->Arcanist(FIrst Grade/Ring)-->Arcanist(Second Grade/Ring)-->Arcanist (Third Grade/Ring)
