Anderson was the adept assigned by the Sarubo Family to oversee Swamp Tower. He would use his apprentice adepts as specimens for his experiments, he was desperate to advance to Second Grade because he was scheduled to fight in interplanar wars. Eventually, feeling that time was running out, he attempted to harvest the lives of Mary, Evil Bugs and Greem in a bid to progress to become Second Grade Adept. However this action would ultimately cost him his life and benefit Mary, Evil Bugs and Greem instead.

- A big reason why the apprentices of the swampy tower were weak, being mostly around intermediate level rather than the normal advanced level, was because Anderson was neglecting most of them and focusing on his own research.
- He was not well liked any most adepts in the Sarubo Clan, Fugen even calls him a "fool".
- The Sarubo Clan was aware of his plan to sacrifice apprentice adepts in an attempt to become Second Grade, Although it failed, The Sarubo Clan was happy because they gained three promising adepts instead.
